How Howard Hughes Found a Hands-On Partner in OneSource Virtual
There's tremendous value in having a partner that's committed to being hands-on — not just at the beginning, but throughout your Workday journey.
Kimberly Pool, director of Payroll and Benefits at The Howard Hughes Corporation, has experienced that firsthand as a OneSource Virtual (OSV) customer at two different employers. When she joined Howard Hughes, she brought OSV with her because of the partnership she'd built.
A partnership that stays hands-on as it adapts to your needs
Howard Hughes’ internal HR team was running lean when they first began working with OSV. Because of this, they started with managed services. As the team has matured, though, they’ve been able to take on more work in-house.
But rather than becoming less engaged, OSV has remained just as supportive.
“They were very understanding of what we were trying to do,” Kimberly explains, noting that they still needed OSV’s partnership, only in different ways.
Today, Howard Hughes uses OSV for settlement services and tax administration.
Despite scaling back services, “My contact is very hands-on,” Kimberly notes. Her tax contact schedules quarterly meetings to review updates and discuss what's coming down the pipeline.
That hands-on approach continues to enable Kimberly's team to level up while maintaining expert support where they need it most.
Watch Kimberly explain why a hands-on partnership matters — and why she's chosen to work with OSV at multiple companies.
